Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Woods & River RV Park (“we,” “us”) operates this website to help guests learn about the park, ask questions, and reach our reservation provider. This policy explains how we handle personal information through the website and in serving guests. A separate service’s website is governed by its own policy.

Information we receive and why

Questions and contact. If you use our form, call, or email, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, question category, and message. We use these details to respond, provide guest service, and keep relevant correspondence. Please do not send payment-card numbers or other sensitive information through the form or email.

Reservations. Booking buttons lead to Campspot, a separate reservation service. Campspot collects information needed for a booking under its own policy. We may receive guest, contact, reservation, stay, and payment-status details to manage bookings and business records. We do not collect payment-card numbers through this website’s contact form.

Website activity. Squarespace hosts the site and may process IP address, browser and device details, page visits, referral information, interactions, timestamps, and cookies needed for site operation, security, and analytics. Google reCAPTCHA helps protect our contact form from spam and may process technical and interaction information. Other service providers may deliver site assets, such as fonts.

Analytics and advertising. We use Google Analytics to understand site visits and Meta Pixel to measure advertising and site activity. These services may receive information about a browser and its interaction with this site. We also use guest or customer contact lists for advertising. We may provide contact details such as email addresses or phone numbers to advertising platforms, including Google or Meta where used, to match people to accounts, create audiences, show park ads, and measure results. Hashing a list before matching does not make this use anonymous. We do not exchange personal information for money. Advertising-list disclosures may nonetheless be treated as targeted advertising, “sharing,” or a “sale” under some privacy laws.

Cookies and advertising choices

Essential functions use cookies or similar storage. Our cookie notice lets you accept, decline, or manage supported optional Performance and Analytics and Advertising cookies. You can revisit those choices through Cookie Settings in the footer. Declining does not remove cookies from earlier visits; you can delete those through your browser.

Our current Google Analytics integration uses Google's consent mode. Even when you decline optional analytics cookies, the Google tag may send limited requests without optional analytics cookies, including consent signals and page-view or technical information. Declining is therefore not a promise that no information is sent to Google. In a live test with Advertising declined, no Meta event request was observed, although its script loaded. Other third parties may have separate practices and controls.

Cookie Settings do not remove a person from advertising audiences made from guest or customer contact lists. To request that we stop using your contact details for such audiences, email woodsandrivercamping@gmail.com with “Advertising opt-out” in the subject line. We will review the request and take steps required by applicable law for lists and audiences we control. Separate platforms and Campspot may offer their own controls.

Sharing, retention, and security

We disclose information as needed to operate the site, serve guests, and advertise the park. Depending on the service used, recipients may include Squarespace, Google, Meta, Campspot, site-asset providers, and professional providers supporting our business. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably needed to protect the park, guests, or our rights. Outside links take you to other services with their own policies.

We retain information for the time reasonably needed to answer inquiries, manage stays, maintain business and accounting records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Periods vary by information type and system; providers may apply their own settings. We use reasonable protective measures, but no electronic transmission or system is completely secure.

Your privacy requests

You may ask about personal information we hold, or request correction or deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to access a copy or opt out of certain targeted advertising, sales, or profiling. Contact woodsandrivercamping@gmail.com or (719) 657-4530. We may verify identity before disclosing or changing information, retain information where law permits or requires, and respond within applicable legal timeframes. If we deny a request, you may ask us to review that decision.

This site is intended for a general audience. If you believe a child provided personal information through it, please contact us.
